Terms of service
Cornerlens is made by 36N Group LLC, a Wyoming company. These are the terms between you and us when you use it. They are short on purpose, and they mean what they say.
1. What Cornerlens is
Cornerlens checks where a business comes up on Google Maps from many points across its town, and whether AI answers mention it, and turns that into a weekly report page you can share under your own name. It is built for marketing agencies and for business owners who run their own listing.
You must be at least 18 and using it for a business. By making an account you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
2. Your account
You sign in with Google, or with a six-digit code we email you. You are responsible for what happens under your account and under the accounts of the teammates you invite. Keep your Google account and your mailbox safe; if you think somebody else is using yours, tell us on the Ask us page and change that password.
3. Your clients and your pages
You add the businesses you serve or own. You confirm that you are allowed to track them and to email their owners. The emails Cornerlens sends to a client go out under your agency's name, only after somebody at your agency approves them, and only to a client who asked to hear from you. What they say is your responsibility.
The report pages you share are yours to share. Anyone with the link can read one. Your brand name, color and logo stay yours; we only print them on your pages. If you put the pages on your own domain, that domain must be yours.
4. What you may not do
- Copy the service, resell access to it, or share one account between agencies.
- Load it with scripts, scrape it, or try to get around the limits of your plan.
- Use it to harass a business, to mislead its customers, or to break a law.
- Try to get into another agency's workspace or data.
We may pause or close an account that does any of this.
5. Prices and payment
The prices in force are on the pricing section of the home page. The price you see when you subscribe, and what it includes, is the price you pay.
- Monthly plans renew every month and can be canceled any time. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the month already paid for.
- The credit plans give your account a number of credits every month, the same plans for agencies and for business owners, and one smaller plan for business owners alone. One credit is one point on a map, so a check on a 3×3 map spends 9, one on 7×7 spends 49 and one on 21×21 spends 441. Map checks spend them, the scheduled ones and the ones you start, and so do a prospect map (49), a keyword lookup (50) and a question you write for the AIs yourself (15 each week an AI answers it). The AI answers to your keywords, the listing watch and the review reads spend none. The AIs are asked only about clients on maps of 7×7 and bigger: a 3×3 or 5×5 map is the map alone. Each client is checked once a week unless you choose every day, every 2 weeks or every 4 weeks for it; those are what “the scheduled checks” means below, and a client checked more often spends more credits. Every day is offered on a credit plan only.
- Credits you do not use last three more months, the oldest spent first. They all end when the plan ends, and they are never refunded or paid out. The scheduled checks and your own questions always run: when they need more credits than are left, the difference comes off the next month's credits.
- A plan must hold a month of your clients' scheduled checks and of your own questions. Adding a client, a keyword or a question, moving a client to a wider map or bringing one back from the archive is refused when it would not, and the app names the plan that would. Moving to a bigger plan is charged that day for the rest of the period, and the extra credits for the rest of the month come at once. Moving to a smaller plan is not charged or credited back: the next bill is the smaller one, and the credits already given stay.
- A free trial comes only with a code or an invitation from us: the days and the credits it names, given once. It costs nothing and asks for no card. One mailbox gets one free trial, ever, however its address is written, and a trial cannot be raised. We email you before it ends. When it ends, the scheduled checks and AI questions stop and no client can be added, unless you have chosen a plan by then; your clients, their history and their report links stay. A plan chosen during the free trial starts, and is charged, that day, and the free days left are not kept.
- Annual plans are paid up front and run for the year paid for. A credit plan paid by the year gets its credits month by month. A cancellation takes effect at the end of that year; the months left are not refunded.
- Payment goes through Stripe. No tax is added to the prices today; if that changes, we tell you before it applies.
- When a payment fails, Stripe tries the card again, and the plan keeps working while it does. If Stripe stops the subscription for the unpaid bill, the plan ends.
- If a payment is taken back through your bank (a dispute or chargeback), the plan ends that day, as a cancellation does: its credits end, and the scheduled checks and AI questions stop. Your clients, their history and their report links stay.
- When a plan ends, canceled or unpaid, the scheduled checks and AI questions stop and no client can be added. Your clients, their history and their report links stay until you ask us to close the workspace.
6. What the numbers are, and are not
A rank is what Google showed from one point at one moment, read through a data vendor. Google changes its results all the time, and AI answers change from one asking to the next; the app says so where it matters. We report what came back. We do not promise a ranking, a number of customers, or any result for your clients.
7. Keeping it running
We work to keep Cornerlens up and the status page shows whether it is. We add and change features as we go. If we ever close the service, you get at least 30 days' notice and your export.
8. Our liability
Cornerlens is provided as it is. We are not liable for lost profits, lost clients, or any indirect loss that comes from using it or from not being able to use it. For anything else, what we owe you is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here takes away a right the law gives you that cannot be given away.
9. Leaving
You can cancel any time from Settings, and ask us to delete your workspace on the Ask us page. The export button in Settings gives you every scan of every client as one file, before or after. We can close an account that breaks these terms; the export stays available unless the law tells us otherwise.
10. Law and changes
These terms are under the law of the State of Wyoming, United States, and its courts. When we change them, the date at the top changes, and for a change that matters we email the owner of every workspace before it applies.
Questions about any of this: the Ask us page reaches a person.
